Caroline van den Brul’s deep rooted understanding of the creative process has been honed through a distinguished career as a BBC producer and executive editor.

For 10 years she led teams of programme makers and new presenters to tell stories which engaged audiences both intellectually and emotionally. Caroline has two BAFTA nominations.

Credits include: Horizon, Tomorrow’s World, Meet the Ancestors, Hospital Watch, The Royal Institution Christmas Lectures, Indelible Evidence, Traces of Guilt, Morning Surgery, What the Romans/Victorians did for us and for Discovery, U.S Science and Medical Mysteries.

As the creativity leader of Greg Dyke’s huge culture change programme, Caroline worked with senior leaders and others across the BBC to implement ambitious initiatives, including a block-buster innovation process to develop big collaborative projects, many with external partners. She set up a network of individuals trained in the innovation process who, alongside their day jobs, helped to embed new, creative ways of working across the corporation.

In 2006 Caroline was awarded an MBE for services to broadcasting.

Caroline left the BBC with an ambition to help individuals and their organisations embrace change - through creativity and story telling. Her clients are International, from the creative industries, Universities and the Wellcome Trust. She is also an associate of the Leadership Foundation for Higher Education
